I get a lot of the same questions
about my books and life. Here are a few of the most popular!
FAQ about Jenna
Petersen:
Will you write more Lady Spies books?
The answer right now is no. I adored writing this series, but I
think it was closed off well in
Seduction Is Forever, the third book
in the series. However, if you've read the book, you do know that I
left the door open for new spies and new stories, so I'm not saying
never. Just no for now.
Will you ever write a story for Philip, Tristan's best friend in
From London With Love?
Again, the answer at this moment is no. I never actually saw Philip
as hero material, not that I didn't love him. I get this question a
lot, though. Maybe some time in the future if I can find the right
story and right heroine.
I loved Caleb, Marah and Shaw in
Lessons From A Courtesan. Will you
tell Caleb and Marah's story? Or maybe give Shaw a book?
Caleb will definitely get a story (it's in the works) and I still
want to pair him with Marah since they obviously shared a very
potent moment off-screen in Lessons that changed them both (they
haven't yet shared with me the particulars of that moment). However,
there are a few things in the works before I can get to them.
My newest book,
Her
Notorious Viscount is another stand-alone story
with un-related characters to Lessons. But then I'll be starting a
series that I am seriously excited about and Caleb fits perfectly
into that series. So he's coming down the line and I hope you'll
love the stories leading to his moment. And don't forget... even
when things don't seem connected... in the end they may be. ;)
As
for Shaw, right now I don't have anything firmly planned for him
(the series should take some time for me), but I wouldn't rule him
out! I'm sure we'll see more of him in Caleb's book.
Will you ever write contemporary/paranormal/category/suspense/etc?
At this point I'm very happy writing historical and erotic
historical romance. It's not that I haven't gotten a few ideas here
and there that fit into those other realms, but I don't feel
compelled to write outside of my current genres. So I hope if you
love historical romance, you'll always know you can find a home with
me.
Will you ever give up
The Passionate Pen?
No! Actually when I first signed with Avon I got an email from
someone saying, "Well, I guess that's it for Passionate Pen!" I
couldn't believe it! I love helping other authors and interacting
with them. I have no intention of stopping the site now or in the
future.
